Okay I didn't really take much photos ... nor really bothered about dressing up ... Okay who am I kidding when do I 'not bother' about dressing up. It's like a habit to look good or at the very least my own definition of 'looking good'.

Decided to curl my hair :3 Have been doing it afew times to practise till I got it right, I only burnt myself once and that wasn't even technically a burn because I got it from my hair just after I'd tonged it. Do not touch your hair RIGHT after you curl/tong/crimp it , IT'S FUCKING HOT. Also try not to let it fall to your forehead straight away it'll expand your pores and create unwanted dirt clogs! Well it's a theory ... my theory ... not proven but seems logical enough , no?

My very first field trip in ITE and our destination : The Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped. (SAVH)

Previously known as Singapore Association for the Blind (SAB) [explained later on ... sort of.], is a voluntary welfare organisation, founded in 1951. The association is affiliated to the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC).

Their Mission :

To Help the Visually Handicapped Help Themselves.Help the Visually Impaired help themselves by acquiring new skills and gaining self reliance to cope with the integration into society.

Started the day by reporting to school.

Communication Skills Teacher , Mrs Tan. Uber nice!

3 of the visually impaired volunteers who served us plus the host of this.

This is where it gets interesting ... And also where my bitching starts.

Beyond the arch is total pitch darkness and it's also where we will be eating hence the program name 'Dining in the Dark.' This program is aimed at educating people on what/how it feels like to be visually impaired.

Let me just say that in my 16 years of living I've never interacted/conversed with someone disabled. It makes me cringe sometimes when I see disabled people, not because I detest or find them repulsive but because the thought of even imagining myself in their shoes freaks me out to the point I want to scream/cry/go insane. The closest I've come to someone disabled is my grandmother who is currently still having demencia and not able to move around on her own.

But today I'm not given a choice of whether I want to be in their shoes or not.

So we soon are brought into 2 separate rooms because there are like 23 of us an each room had 1 & 2 tables respectively. Now upon entering the room, it really is pitch black darkness. It's like wearing goggles with black paint at the front and no matter how hard you try to adjust to the darkness you can't because they've blocked out all possible light... Or so I thought, there were no windows ; it was an enclosed room.

But anyway.

Not even starting to eat or even have everyone sat down yet someone decides to take out their phone for light. This just ticks me off , because they clearly told us to leave our phones outside but I guess some people have no respect. Not only that , if that light was just for you and only you saw it , fine. But did you consider whether other people appreciated what you did? You're being completely inconsiderate and absolutely disrespectful.

Soon we're all sitted and waiting for our food to be served. Again I remind you, we''re being served by people that are visually handicapped. Before food arrives, we're served juice from a jug. And we have to pour it ourselves and of course we're not used to it because we always use our vision to gauge how much to pour. But without vision this is the reaction from various people in my class...

"WAH *UCK SIA HOW TO POUR CANNOT SEE!?"

"WHAT THE HELL , HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO POUR?"

"SHIT LAH STUPID SIA HOW TOO DO LIKE THAT?!"

etc , you get the point?

All being said while the ones who were serving us were in the room.

Seriously how insensitive can you people get? You're going through this for less then an hour whereas people have to go through this every waking moment of their lives. Have you no heart? Insensitive bitches , you can't keep your damn comments to yourself? Or is it because you live such pampered and always get what you which causes you to act like a stupid brat? I won't lie, I myself live quite a pampered life but I don't take it as an excuse to be a insensitive in fact it's all the more reason to be sensitive and humble.

I mean I'm not saying I didn't have difficulty but hell I wasn't screaming to the heavens to strike a hole in the roof for light, I was trying to understand how it felt. I wanted to experience what God apparently blessed me from, but some people can't let others be without letting them know they exactly how they feel. Bitch, you think I really give fuck about how you can't pour juice? I did it fine why can't you? And even if you can't why must you scream it out?

But what happens above doesn't end there. Nope. It goes on for the entire meal; drink , main course , dessert. Complaining all the way.

Main course, complained about how they don't like to eat it and how it's no warmed up.

Dessert , complain about only having 1 scoop of ice cream.

Seriously , Fuck you and you're shit ass complains. You can easily buy whatever 5 star food you want after and not eat what they give you but to go on and on about how you don't like it is plain insensitive and rude.

For fuck sake you're not even paying for this. There are actual people that go there just to experience it and they pay real money to know how it feels. You? Free so it's okay for you to complain? If your argument is because the school makes you do then you're wrong because honey you can do anything you want but to come and disrupt someone else who wants a taste of experience is where you should back the fuck up.

By the end of it I just couldn't take it. I put myself in Serene's shoes (our server) and I just couldn't help but brawl at what she was going through. 17-20 years olds acting like snobby brats. I mean the level of insensitivity and disrespect is just unforgivable for teenagers. I thought when I came to ITE in a higher nitec class I'd have moved on from all this kind of bullshit which I thought only happens in secondary school but I guess I'm wrong. But I'll tell you one thing I'm not wrong about , the characters of the people I judge from orientation day one till now. I was right and I'm reassured of who to avoid now. My judgement of people in secondary school wasn't wrong and now in ITE it's not wrong either.

After we'd finish eating and everyone left. I went to look for Serene to apologize on my class's behalf. (even though apologizing would have been the last thing they would do) And I brawled even more imagining what she's going through or at least what I would have felt if I was her. But she was very nice and told me not to cry it wasn't my fault nor my classes because people are who they are, they don't appreciate what they have until they've lost it. Ironically she's never been through that because she's lived her entire life being completely blind but has been able to support herself in spite of her handicap.

After eating we went on to learn more about other things that visually handicap people use/do. Above, A lady's showing us things that are used by visually handicap people to aid them in daily life. A solid black and white watch which she is holding is to help those with low vision and can only see in extreme colors. There's a talking calculator and clock too. They also have a braille watch!

Numerous awards the association has won over the years.

This one caught my eye because it wasn't like a typical certificate. It had miniature instruments !

We moved on to learning about how visually impaired people study. And here is where I need to stop again.

Because I never EVER interacted with visually impaired people I've also never given a thought to exactly what they go through. All I ever thought was okay, they're blind and they use walking sticks. I never thought about exactly how/when they actually started having problems or what they have to do after they've encountered the problem.

This is a braille typewriter, it's or typing out the braille onto paper. It's actually hard to explain here but because braille uses a 6 cell rectangle to show a symbol that represents a word/letter/number you actually have to press a few buttons together to get the right numbers of cells punched in.

Another new discovery I have is that visually impaired people like Serene who have been impaired since birth are still required to study like normal students. Meaning they have to study English , Math , Science and everything else. AND on top of all that all of it is mostly in braille too. They don't get extension on exams either , they take just as long as we do or test and exams. So can you imagine how much harder they have to work?

Now can you imagine how much harder it is? I know I can and I'm so so so so thankful that I have vision even if it's slightly myopic , as long as I can see I'm blessed.

I am most likely in danger o this.

All in all, I've definitely benefited from the field trip (first time sia, lol ) and I've learned a lot about the visually impaired and the obstacles they go through. I've also learnt that a few of my classmates can be classified as barbarians.

And I am most certainly going to visit SAVH again.

I couldn't think of a witty sentence to start with like my typical blog posts (or so I think) because this is the blunt truth of the matter. And now I should probably explain how this started and blah blah blah ...

Well ... I guess it started when I was in primary school so I'm thinking when I'm about 9 years to 11 years old when I started to have an interest in guys. I don't know exactly what attracted me, their face , body , smell (whut o_o) I seriously don't know what attracted me but I was attracted. And being so young and naive I didn't know what to think of it. But the weird thing is in some weird instinctioncial way I'd known that for some reason I couldn't possibly tell my parents for some inbred thought that they might disown me. And frankly speaking that thought is still lingering. So I confided in someone I was closest with , Cousin Hazel.

I labeled myself Bi-sexual because I have liked a girl before in primary school. Only 1 though, the first & last. Till today I can still see her face with her luminous smile, short bob & bronze skin. But my mom/parents would have never agreed because of the stupid religion boundary. Which is another thing I want to say, I am born a Catholic. I attended church and religious classes when I was younger but I only did it because my parents forced me.

Anyway back when I was yee big I already didn't have an interest in God nor did I believe but after growing up and understanding and accepting my sexuality, I've come to detest the term 'God' even more because what we learnt in church is God loves everyone no matter what ... but I guess they missed out LGBTs. I mean look how many people out there are preaching that LGBT are going to burn into the ground or going to be bard from heaven. This was the moment in my life where I forsaked God and I forsaked religion.

Back to me, After primary school ended I never got to see Sara, the first girl I ever ell in love with, ever again because I moved to practically the end of Singapore , Jurong.(Used to live in Woodlands) so the chances of actually being in the same school vanished like food in my fridge.

Primary school wasn't easy for me because of how dramatic (as mama would say) I acted. But really I think the accurate word is flamboyant. Secondary school was somewhat easier , maintainly only 1 dickhead who I had to put up with for 2 years , would have been 3 years if I didn't go to ITE. (thank ~~God~~ food I did.)

Being an observant person I always knew/know there are people constantly talking behind my back especially in secondary school. The saddest thing though is that none of them bothered to get to know me, they just lived by the assumption I was someone not to associated with because I was flamboyant or gay (which they are probably more familiar with because they have such robust vocabulary.) Which is why one of my life goals is to become uber famous and one day I can rub my dick in their face. N levels was a good start.

But the reason why I'm publicly admitting it is because I feel that I know what I am , I'm over the period where I was questioning myself. I've learnt to accept who I am because I was born this way, I refuse to believe God made me in this way because why the hell would God put someone through such misery to disappointing one's parents and being hated by people.

Then again some bible-mass-going catholic would argue that God made me to change the world/mindset of people who've misinterpreted the bible ... to that I'd say fuck God for giving me such a burden or responsibility, if so I'd better have a freaking good prize. Seriously why can't god just strike those that have taken they're preaching too far instead of casting natural disasters on innocent people.

I guess I'm going to have to face my mom after she reads this , she's probably going to come into my room and talk to me. I'm hope there's no water works. That kind of closure is so awkward. I also hope she doesn't disown me. If I don't post after this it's probably because I'm homeless.

YEAH! New contact lens & new brand. HAHA, I have this unconscious goal to try all contact lens brands/colors and thanks to my sweet aunt who sponsored me these lens I'm 1 step closer to my goal!

Prior to taking the photo above this , had brunch at OneMo a chinese restuarant. Meh chinese food isn't my favorite so I rate it a whatever out of 10.

I think I'd look good with a slight tan... Unfortunately I hate the sun ... And sweating. So if you ever see me doing sports in the sun it's either I've been forced out of my will to do so or I've gone mad so either way please save me. Or kill me. Which ever works.

So if you've been following my blog for at least half a year now or at least my twitter, you'd know that I was very lucky to literally have a bunny hop up to my door and I've kept it as a pet since!

Ashe has actually grown ALOT since I first got him... I'm also assuming it's a him even though I can't find a penis nor a vagina but his pee is like always reddish. Menses? Hmmm ...

So as I was saying ever since I got him he has grown ALOT. I used to be able to hold him with 1 hand but now if I do I'll pose the risk of dropping him into oblivion. His fur color has changed too. Used to be dark black but now it's becoming like a ashy light grey ; hence his name.

oh and he is super skittish , like if I hold him and there's a sudden loud sound he goes into a mini frenzy and his heart beats like crazy , very scary -___-

At the time we found him, I was so excited because I've always wanted a dog I didn't really care about breed or the personality of him. Unfortunately, I don't exactly fancy him now... So far life in ITE has been nice, but I can't really base my entire statement on 2 days of ITE which has been plainly orientation. But again , So far so good.

So let's meet some of the people in my course yeah?

This is Adnan. His actually not in the same course as me but we're going to be in the same class till April because both our courses cover the same preparatory modules or higher nitec. He is in IT ( information-technology ) and I am in GDD (Games Design & Development .)

This is Charles. Is that a cool name or what! It sounds so posh and high-class. Plus I've never met nor known anyone named Charles except for Charles X' Zavier rom X-men. Charles is however also not in my course , His in some course called MUC ( Mobile Unified SOMETHING ). I've never heard of it O__o

Okay , so this is a new class and I've only known everyone for like 1 day and I can't completely remember everyone's name. BUT , The 3 malay girls are Azura, Fee and Siti ( clockwise from top). Actually I'm not sure if Fee is her real name :/
At first I thought she said 'Vee' when we were doing introductions. Yes I am a deaf bitch.

205. My great hairventure

The first time I dyed my hair. Admittedly it hurt during the dying process probably coz my scalp isn't used to the new chemicals. I didn't really like the color because I wanted to be a firey red head and not a I-only-can-see-the-color-in-the-sun kind of hair color.

Because I didn't like the hair color , I BLEACHED IT!

I'm not exactly sure if I had dyed it again or if this was just the bleach but I liked this color ^__^

After still not getting my firey hair I finally got to going to a salon and dying it. And this is how it turned out.

I wasn't a fan of this color because of the pinkish/purple hue.

Soon the color faded into a slightly more firey red color.

Before the Penang trip I decided to bleach my hair once again because I'm crazy. The hair color reminded me of Lee Taemin xD

So after I bleach I had planned to get my hair to a bright pale brown/grey. But it turned out like this.

This color was damn awesome! But sadly it started to fade during the trip in penang.

And the color faded ...

and eventually faded to more blonde...

Emphasis on the 'no' , because blogger doesn't allow custom titles. >__<

That was the name of the campaign for probably the first anti-drug movement I'd ever experienced. But in this day and age ,mere posters are becoming and eyesore which people more or less tend to ignore. I mean who really has their eyes set on reality anymore, people are constantly on social networks ; facebook , twitter , tumblr , etc.

That is why I think it's a smart move by 'The National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA)' and 'Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB)' to have started a campaign called 'Life does not rewind' which hosts 3 games to educate the mass about drug abuse and it's effects all while having it on a well known social platform , Facebook.

These 3 games will be launched consecutively from the month of December 2011 onwards. Each game will have a challenge period of four weeks whereby players can submit their game scores in hopes of winning weekly prizes worth $150 and an IPad 2.

This first game that will be launched is ' Jump Jump Rescue' ,

It is quite similar to the IPhone game 'Mega-jump' where you play as this creature (in jump jump rescue you play as a human) and what happens is you are trying to grab coins and raise to the top , to what end even I don't know. Jump jump rescue is just the same , except there are drugs in the game that try to depict the side effects of drugs.

The second game they are releasing is 'The Right Choice' ,

In the game , you assume the roll of a guy named 'Jeremy' whose suspecting his younger brother of drug abuse. Throughout the game which might or might not take you about half and hour includes short mini games and choices which you have to pick that will oversee the final outcome.

Overall I think the games are well made in terms of the specific reason of why they've been made ; very informative of the consequences of dabbling with drugs. I guess the artwork is pretty well done as it is done by students who have probably only tried this once or twice. However I'd wished they allow a mute option for the games as you might got stuck at parts of the game and get annoyed with the repetive music.

So all in all I'll give the games a 4/5 starts for being informative and for the good effort. ^__^

As promised. This is my Penang trip post!

So the day before the trip, my family had stocked up on junk food to store as we're driving all the way to Penang which is like a 12 hour plus journey. While shopping for gum at a provision shop I chanced upon this. My instant reaction was ,' What the fuck?' the photoshop on this person's face is just terrible lah! The hair at the side of her face is cut of by the smooth skin effect which in my opinion looks so obviously shopped , (I believe when you photoshop something it has to look natural and not obvious ; just like make-up) and her brows aren't even.

My guess is the person is really bad at photoshop, blind , severly under paid or soon to be stacked.
This is just terrible.

You know what , I take back what I said about the earlier post. This is much much worst. No photoshop, fine. But what the hell is up with the make-up? She looks like she has a caterpillar on her eye and the lip color is just *PUKE*. But hey , I think it's the first time I see someone with colored contacts on on a magazine cover.

Woke up at 7:30am because I'm not used to sleeping in an unfamiliar bed. Call me paranoid. Had breakast in the hotel.

199. 'N' level results

So my results were released way before this blog post and I had to do lots of soul searching and brain crunching and all those kind of shit to decide my next step in life after receiving my results. Of course non of that has to do with what I'm blogging about, I want to blog about the actual day which I got the results and what actually happened. Keep in mind that I'm blogging about this weeks after it has happened because I didn't have time to blog while in vacation in Penang , Malaysia. Of which a follow up blogpost will be made.

So typically, they'd released the results early afternoon and equally typically I'd meet up with my friends to have lunch. Lazy choice ; Mcdonalds.

We were ah-and-gaing about what results we'd get and who'd probably fail and have to retain because we're gossiping bitches like that. And I must say it was fun being back with them after a long hiatus from school, but it's probably be the last time we'll see each other because school was a common space and we rarely called or texted.

After lunch we headed for school. *cue impending doom music*

Because it was finally the holidays which last for almost 2 months. I'd bleached and dyed my hair several times and it had eventually turned bright orange. My family (mostly mom and cousin Hazel) stressed me to spray my hair black because if I didn't the security guards wouldn't let me into school , which by the way did not happen because everyone else had theirs dyed too. So I just walked into school looking like a fool =__=

I also had my nails painted. Yes I am a guy with painted nails. Deal with it.

I just really loved this and couldn't resist it. Unfortunately, when I did it my nails were extremely short. So it looked extremely dumb. Sorry no pictures but you can just imagine fat fingers with short bloody looking nails.

Anyway back to going back to hell.

Gathered in the school hall , sat like a loner in the 3x8 seats for each class because I mostly don't like anyone in my class and the people I'm usually with didn't care enough to save a seat or call to meet up earlier. Go figure.

The principals goes on to his speech about how the year has gone by and blabblahblah, meh no one gives a shit just get to the results. Geez.

The point of the post is coming ...

So the more important part of the speech/presentation , of which I have never really cared for because it never really applied to me. The part where they announce the highest scoring students.

But apparently yours truly did actually qualify for one of the highest scoring students. In fact , I was second. And at this point the principal was actually calling us out to stand so everyone could clap for us. So first , the top stands , who is actually a guy I knew from sec 1 and went to camp with and wouldn't you know it everyone's clapping probably being all proud and everything.

But when my name was called the hall suddenly turned into a cemetery. Dead silence. No, I did not stand of fear I might rise the living dead.

The next name was called and once again the hall was filled with victorious clapping...

You probably see where I am going with this. To think that everyone would hate me to the extent that they'd wouldn't even clap if I'd done so well. I mean not even my classmates clapped nor came to congratulate me afterwards. But it feel pretty good too , clinching 2nd among other NA students. Guess it gives me bragging rights so ...

TAKE THAT YOU FUCKING GREEN EYED CUNTS AND PRICKS. WHOSE FUCKING LAUGHING NOW BITCHESSSSSS

And in the same moment of high I felt in the hall , this gif popped in my head.

Many would think that after getting such high marks I'd go back to school to continue to sec 5. But seriously, I'd rather bite my arm off then see those bitches again. That is why , I am not going back to school. I've set my sight on a course in ITE and in 3 days I'll brag about how I slept with the high ups to get myself into the course.

I still felt that I was really lucky to have gotten 13 marks. Mainly because English was an easy paper. And for some reason they gave me high marks for Art. I mean it is extremely rare for anyone to get distinction for Art. So this kinda makes me special hurrr?

And this was something someone sent me when I was feeling down about what happened. Some of it was censored for it's ... well the words weren't used in the right context but it's the thought that counts ^__^

The holidays are always weird. When it starts you feel so free and want to do everything on that checklist you mad while you were wasting away in school. But after only completing a few, you give in to laziness and just laze around home wishing holidays were over. However in the last week of the holidays, you beat yourself up for not doing anything because you only have so much time left before everything starts full cycle again...

Now this has been taken with the diffuser except for the first image which is titled mirror which I use a mirror to reflect the light onto a white wall and allow the light to bounce back. And just look , it looks a million times better then any of the diffusers. Which is just sad.

Just look at how all the after photos are! I seriously need to get this but I'm just afraid of shipping and everything. Been told that they might charge you for the shipping companies excess packaging ... Plus the fact that it's a mirror , it's fragile as a baby. Argh , damn these are moments when I wish I was born in a different country. And if you're argument for that is the fact that Singapore is safe ... 6 bodies found in reservoir , a few days ago 3 were attacked in their own home by a NAKED man only 1 barely survived.

Singapore is now as safe as Rabbit from a Serpent. That's my view as a citizen.

Hey ya'll ! Short post for today. Mini family day out. Went to Queensway and shopped for my Dad's birthday present and Also went to Ikea to buy .... PAPER! Haha , it cost 9.90 and it is 30m long so I think it's quite a bargain?

I also tied my hair up for no apparent reason. Rawrs , I want longer red fire-y hair.

Bought a $10 top , alot of tops are on sale right now ! and also a pair of LP pants which I've been yearning for since like the end of last year. If you guys don't know what LP is , it means Lan Pa which is hokkien for balls. So translating directly it means balls pants. HAHAHA.

No I am not sure if that is what you call them but it sure does sound appropriate , I mean who has balls that need that much space to hang.

I'm pretty sure they are running out of fashion soon , but then again when do Singaporean guys follow fashion or even dare to wear such pants , all you see are usually popped collar polos ( EWWW ) and bermudas with lacoste looking shoes and a baseball or 80s looking sunglasses. Seriously the male dressing in Singapore is just ... SO ANYWAY , It's okay if I wear things that are out of fashion. I mean if I like it it's fine right?

Okay I guess you can use my previous sentence to retort back to my popped collar polos statement but seriously I usually see popped collars don by guys in their 20-25, like at that age shouldn't you have better sense or at least know where to buy decent looking clothes or something? Popped collar just makes it look like you're trying too hard.

Whilst among the bloggers and people here at the press conference it kinda felt like I was a real reporter. Have you seen scenes on tv or movies where the president is making a statement to the public and there's reporters all holding up their cameras to record/take photos of the president? THATS WHAT IT WAS LIKE ,it was so surreal and I got caught up in the moment that I forgot to film what he was saying.

It was a fun day out giving out daisies and it's really pleasing to see people smile brightly when you give them the daisies. Some of their expression also changed from dull to all smiles instantly and it's just wonderful to see. Today's the day I get my hair dyed and cut ! And like I said in the previous post , excited and hesitant at the same time !

But before going for my appointment which is 6pm , I had lunch at Clementi's Seoul Garden with Angelina and YuenChee.

After almost 5 servings of barbecue chicken and other things we (thankfully) moved on to dessert. I swear eating with them that day , I probably gained like 5 kg.

Now for the dilemma of the day. Getting the hair color I want. I'm not going to type about it. Rather here's a very short sketch entirely drawn by you'res truely to express what happened.

Supposedly the woman with the yellow jacket has almost the same color as me. And everytime I look in the mirror I am reminded of her =____= This is what happens when you let your mom convince you into doing something you don't want to.

Like the time I was getting a camera for my birthday , I said I wanted a DSLR but she convinced me to get a digital camera and I regretted for 4 years. Or that time when we were shopping and she constantly tried to coax me into buying a ugly long sleeve shirt WHICH I eventually gave into also WHICH I have only worn once , it has since not seen the light or fresh air.

But you know what ? It's okay , I mean it's just hair color right? I can always dye it some other time. Like maybe after I'm done with school which will be ... hmmm 4-5 years? OH WAIT then I have to go to the army ok ok add 2 years , 7 years don't seem so bad. Oh wait after army I probably have to get a job right? And what employer would want to hire someone who looks like their heads on fire? I mean it's not the norm so it's probably not acceptable.

Well if all else fails and I never get to dye my hair the color I want , I guess I can probably write it in my will that when I die I want to have a specific hair color-ed wig on. Hopefully someone doesn't try to mess with it then.

I'm going to cut & dye my hair tomorrow! I'm partially excited and partially hesitant. Excited because my hair is currently good-looking from the front but the back looks like a bush , hesitant because almost everytime I have a hair cut I'm fucking pissed because they don't do it the way I want it.
You ask for a slight trim , they take 5 cm off and things like that. I'm just hoping it'll come out nice.

I'd like it if my hair was this color! I think it looks pretty awesome :D

I didn't really think of a topic to write about on this random Sunday. I knows its suppose to be random but you've have to at least have some ideas right? But anyway , I spent almost the entire day trying to make a bokeh filter for my camera. So here are the photos for today , frankly speaking I think my blog is mainly good because of my awesome photos and Photoshop skillz. :D

I'm wearing my new 3 tone lilac contacts by Maxi. I really think I look great with purple eyes , contrary to almost what everyone says ; having brown eyes looks more natural. Like if I wanted to look natural what the heck would I dye my hair red and put on colored contacts? Besides why do I have look like everyone else? I'm not some clone of society, I am my own person and there is no such thing as normal. Who was even given the authority to decide what is normal?

Had lunch at some fancy Chinese restaurant in Balestier. Been patronizing the place for afew years now but I never really got to remember the name of the place. That being said I usually don't really go out o my way to actually find out. Well that's me for you ^_^

The food was pretty fresh (sashimi) however the service was pretty damn slow. And I know people are going to give me shit about it being dinner time and how there's a huge crowd, so whenever there's a big crowd they are always going to be so slow and inefficient?

How to ix this problem? Hire more people just or dinner hour. Like do you think people will want to go back after experiencing lousy service? I sure as hell don't. I'd rather eat at sasuke sushi , sure the food probably isn't as fresh but at least you don't have ask 3 waiters before you actually get the drink you ordered.

Okay so after hours of looking through tumblr and what not I've found a topic to write about. And I think it's really something that hasn't actually ever been touched on... or not I don't know but here goes.

I feel that this is really an issue right now. Especially for a generation that is so heavily influenced by clothes, fashion , television and whatever shit you can probably think of. And it is because of this , many have become doppelgangers.

I mean has originality died ? Is it dead?

I mean just look at clothes. Just because the fashion industry says this 'IN' and that is 'OUT' everyone just flocks to whatever the season or latest trend is. So are you telling me that you have no taste in what you wear ? Or even when you see something on the internet that looks good , you'd want to do it too just for the sake of it being something everyone else is doing/wearing?

Even shit like the picture above is made all the time. Looks like something inspiration huh? Wrong , these people are just looking for self gratification and the way they get it is when people circulate pictures like these. Which in turn causes even more people to reblog,repost or even entirely remake it.

Even on youtube there are people that say things like ' 10 thumbs up and I'll sing this song infront of my whole school' bitch please , do you really think they'd do that? All they want is for people to thumbs them up for heavens know why. And there it is again , self-gratification. there is absolutely no other explanation.

Well you know what? That's not me.

I'm not some weak minded simpleton who doesn't have a mind of my own. In fact , I'd be dead the day I start to act differently just so people will accept me. If you can't accept me for who I am , I'd sincerely ask you to fuck off.

This probably just shows how much free time I have , but with all the free time I have I've actually grown extremely lazy. I had planned on posting up a video of my first and second hair dying process but didn't want to edit the video because its just so mundane having to watch yourself and decide which parts to edit out. Plus the act that I stutter ALOT when I'm on camera. That's just so weird because I rarely ever stutter. Well anyhow , here's pictures of me with freckles. Decided to try it out haha.

Cute not freckles? Lol as I typed freckles the 'F' button keeps getting stuck. Hehe someone needs too lay off typing uck.

This was not a planned picture. I'd thought about only using the Baby's Breath or the background but overlaying it looks good too! ;D

I mentioned I bleached and dyed my hair right? Well this is the outcome. The color o my hair looks really really nice in the photo but if you see me in person it looks my orange then red ... Sigh. About a week from now I'm probably going to a salon to get it done probably because I did the previous bleaching and dying at home. Hmmm I'm thinking of an ash brown dye. . . .

Pay attention to the color of the circle not the girls' hair color. I just took the color from the part of her hair in the light.

My 'N' levels are freaking over! Oh my freaking gosh , I really don't to mention this because it just sounds so cliche but it really really feels like the world has been lifted off my shoulders and I'm just ready to run into the open field.

Of course metaphorically , I would never actually run in random fields. There could be like dog shit everywhere.

Haiii , it's just so weird to have been so pressured and stress about study but now that it's over you're left with the feeling like you still do need to study even though your exams are over. Anyone feels the same or is it just me?

8 more days to my physics and chemistry papers. To say that I'm prepared is a big fat lie. Because

#1. My physics has seriously gone down hill this year and
#2. I've only passed 1 test this year for chemistry.

So yeah I'm pretty much fucked for these 2 subjects.

However I'm not exactly worried for them because as terrible as this might sound, I'm hell bent on going to ITE. I mean , it's not that I really really want to go but given the choice of going to polytechnic or ITE I'd definitely pick polytechnic but Maths, Chemistry , physics in school is just killing me and having to take another year of it will screwed me over even more then I already am.

I'd really wish I could just draw and paint everyday. That could have been possible if I'd passed the audition for School of the Arts (SOTA) when I was in primary 5. But then again I'd audition with music (flute) back then , so if I'd gotten in I'd have to study theory everyday or something shitty like that so thank the heavens I didn't get in.

My English teacher gave me advice the other day with I found quite appealing. She suggested I try being a freelance journalist or column writer. It does sound good because I do like writing and it comes pretty natural to me but who's willing to hire me? ): Plus I probably curse to much and write too informally... or will I be able to do that? I guess I'll keep that idea in mind because it does sound rather promising .

But until then , I'm stuck with struggling to get through with the bloody 'N' levels ... I'm hoping for the best and going to try ... well I'd be lying if I said I tried my best. It's just so hard to do things when your mood goes awry.

180. Contact lens frenzy!

So if you don't already know , contact lens are a huge part of my daily life. I wear them to school and when I'm out shopping and what not. But which brands are good? Which kind look good? Well this is my experience so far.

Well firstly , I started with the brand Maxi Eyes. I did so because they were having a promotion which is 2 pair of 2 tone lens for S$28. And isn't that a great deal? I think it is. And I happily bought my first 4 pairs of contacts because I have 2 different degrees for my eyes and I wanted to get green and blue so that was the only solution.

More about my first experience with contacts!

Note to self : You look terrible in green. That includes contacts , tops , bottoms , shoes. No green. No exceptions!

And now recently I've finally got myself 4 pairs of 3 tone contacts! I've been scrimping like a beggar just so I could get them and I finally have! Sad thing is they're slightly more pricey then what I usually fork out but it okay! All in them name of beauty and glamorous-ness.

It looks slight different from the usual 2 tone lens I have. Firstly , it has obvious specks of yellow in the middle. Also the outer ring of the lens is not solid or lined, it's more of dotted. Here's a photo to compare'em.

And if you're wondering what the other 2 lens are.

Something I've actually noticed about the lens is that the outer ring really really makes a big difference. With the outer ring your eyes could look WAY bigger then they actually they are. Seriously , trust me. I would know. Haha. Well if you don't here's a photo for comparison.

Well does it looks bigger? Or is it just me .... Anyway, I actually thought about blogging about my contacts because that's what gets me the most views according to the chart from nuffnang; people search contact lens and they get redireted to my blog LOL. So yeah.

When you're up late at night. You can't sleep. Your brain starts to wonder about the future. What you'll be doing in 20 a years times, is that goal you set still in range? Was it even realistic in the first place?

Let's be positive.

You achieved that goal. You're doing what you set out to do. What happens after that? Is it enough for you to continue with your life? Will it bring good future prospects? What about your social circle? Is that friend you used to talk to still alive? Do they know YOU'RE alive? Maybe one of your ex-mates is married/pregnant/ill/dead now ? Should you try to contact them to catch up on life?

What about that bitch/bully you used to hate? You're probably still think about trucks knocking them down, but now you're wondering whether that has really actually happened and if you could go to their funeral and dance on their casket. Rub it in their face that karma is a bitch but realize what you're doing is pretty ironic to what their did to you. You realized they could have had a problem with their life in the past but all you could do was hate them just because they were screaming for help. You feel bad about yourself.

What about your love life? Still single? Attached? is he/she too clingy? Does he/she have a weird pet peeve you hate? Is he/she going to call you tomorrow to talk because you haven't talked today? Is he/she planning to go out with you? Or maybe a chick-flick movie marathon? Shopping? Or maybe he/she cheating on you? What would you do if he/she were cheating? Break up? Stalk and kill'em?

What would life be like if you broke up? Would you put yourself out to date again? Would you date someone older or younger this time? If you got attached , would you ask yourself if this will be the person you wake up to everyday? Would you even mind sharing the same bed? What if he/she snores REALLY loud? But if he/she has demons for in-laws? Would it be a big wedding? Who'd you invite? Close friends? Wait you lost contact.

What about children? Would you have children? How many? Boys or girls? Wait , do you even have the money for children? How old are you again?

The sad realization that if you're a guy living in Singapore, you have to plan what you're going to do after 2 years of hell. Think you could further your studies but realize the syllabus might have changed while you were serving your country. So study or work? Will you be able to stuff knowledge after 2 years of turning yourself into a mass of muscles? Will you have time to maintain that figure?

Realize a girl would never date you if you can't get a decent job so you decide to work hard. You meet a swell girl while studying. Life is good , you're with brains , muscles and a girl who loves you to bits. Studys gte hard, even after you graduate work is even worse.

It gets so tough, you start turning to alcohol to take away the burdens of life.

You get into trouble for your drinking habits. You get a virus/illness from your alcoholic ways.You're girlfriend breaks up with you because you reek of alcohol all the time and you're never spending time with her, plus your muscles are now hips of fats.

You're parents are worried that you might not get married , they set you up for blind dates? Nothing goes well as everyone you meet is just weird and you just want to drink and smoke. When did you even pick up smoking? You don't remember. Nothing matters anymore , life is boring and tiresome. You feel like utter shit all the time.

You're up late at night wondering what you did wrong as a teenager which led you to the life you have now.

With N levels around the corner my nerves are on their wits ends, sure it never ever seems that way to anyone I know because ... come on do you expect me to go around screaming I'M FUCKING STRESSED OMG OMG , no that's not me. I find pleasure in screaming out to songs like This is what rock and roll looks like or Judas. Any song with an attitude.

On to my day. Watched the movie Johnny English REBORN and I've got to say I'm not very impressed. I mean it is funny but most of he funny parts were already in the trailer. So the movie was just meh. I'd rate it a 3/5 stars.

But now on to something which pissed me off, so I'm walking out of the car part to the movie theater and I see this guy. And this guy sees my rainbow camera strap and he turns to his friend and whispers something. I'm not sure if I heard or whether I read his lips but if I'm not mistaken he said Ah Gua.

For those of you who don't know it means sissy if translated to English. Now this just pisses me off because the person doesn't even know me and they're making an assumption about me. HOWEVER , sometimes I think I'd really rather be called a sissy, ah gua or if people say I'm not a guy.

Why? Because probably 80% of the guys I know are chauvinistic bigots. But obviously I won't regard myself as a girl because I clearly do not own a vagina nor boobs.

Therefore , If ever asked , I'll brush-off the term boy/guy because I'm better then these partisan monomaniacs.

If you haven't already realized , I've tweaked my blogskin alittle. Now it's themed more to the color blue and my photos look super studio taken! Thanks to the flash bouncer I made and also my white wall which was just recently painted.

Today marked the end of them 'N' level papers for THIS MONTH. There'll only be exams in October so until then I have to study like a mad scientist. The recent exams that have passed are Chinese , Social Studies and English respectively. English is probably going to the the only subject that gets rather ... attractive marks , or so I hope.

Chinese is ... not on the same wave length as me so I can't really say anything about it. And for social studies I probably screwed the entire paper over because I studied for 2 chapters but unfortunately the 2 chapters did not come out for SEQ , Structured Essay Questions , which are just these damned questions which require require you to remember ever bloody detail in a chapter and write everything out. Mega annoying.

Meh thats all I have for now. Loving my new skin (:

I think I fail pretty badly as a vlogger because I'm always forgetting some points. Maybe I should start having like cue cards like they do in TV newscasts.

I didn't really mention what happened in the end in which we were asked to enter the discipline room (we were sitting on a bench outside it for the 1 hour , it was freaking warm because there was no fan.) to be interrogated. Yes interrogated , because he is just sitting slummed back behind his desk like a boss with us standing in front of him.

And he said stuff like 'I don't want to see this again blah blah blah' typical things you'd hear from any teacher.

This is actually my first time in my entire life having detention. Why? Because I'm an angel like that. HAH okay I'm kidding , sure I break rules sometimes but nothing extremely serious. Colored contacts lens and long hair just to mention a few. #NOBODYSPERFECT and who would want to be? I mean isn't our flaws what makes us awesome. You can't be good at everything because that's God.

But really thinking about it now. If my whole class had left intentionally disobeying the discipline head and I'm left with myself and the other... would I really be that stupid to just leave? I mean it would be so obvious because I don't have the others to cover me , a hunter can only shoot one wolf at the time. I mean does he think me that dumb to try to escape with such narrow exit?

However she is plagued by Dementia , Alzheimer's disease . Not going into detail about it. You can watch the video to find out.

It's really a very sad video. And video to reality its even worse. But it happened all to early in life for me to have understood but having grown up it has hit me like a train because I can still recall the days when she would take care of me , take me out for chicken rice or burger which is probably the reason why I'm fat but really I don't regret a day of it. I can still remember how she would pet and sing me to sleep.

She had to assume role of a mother to 4 daughters and a immobilized husband due to back problems if memory serves.

I probably couldn't have done what she did. She raised 4 daughters up , all of which are married , 3 with children and 2 with their own businesses. If she hasn't done a good job as a parent then someone please tell what does a parent have to do to be considered one that has done their job.

Today was ultra shitty man. It's like the universe combined all the shitty shitty days that I have ever had and just threw it straight smack into my face. Gosh , I've literally never felt this terrible about myself ever. Not even done this bad either I guess.

I had my Math Prelim today.

And I tell you this. If I can get a decent pass , god will probably ride down in a chariot and ask me exactly how I did the impossible because I counted (with a calculator, because my mind was just going mental.) that I lost 24 marks for my first paper and lost 48 marks for my second each of total scores 60 and 80 respectively.

Oh my god, when I was in the exam hall I just felt like running towards a wall. HEAD FIRST. I felt like screaming out to the entire galaxy. But of course it's no ones fault but mine. BUT you can't blame me, maths is just a hard-ass-bitch that makes no sense to people like me.

I mean seriously, how can the school expect us to remember shit-loads of formulas for no goddamn reason. Are we going to use it in future? NO. Well depends. But mostly no. I mean what percentage of us are going to be mathematical physicians or chemist? Not me.

OKAY MAYBE , Well will use some of it. Like maybe counting the volume of the can of soup you bought? Or maybe the amount of water your bathtub can hold? Or the circumference of your spectacles lens ?

Fine. I stop complaining because " Once you start working, you'll want to go back to school. " Yeah , I sympathize with that because I want to go back to primary school now ...NOT , I sure as hell DO NOT want to go back to those baboons , and I sure as fuck won't want to be back in secondary school where not only the 3/4 are out to get you ,even the teachers and higher ups are cunts.

The weight of the world has been lift off my shoulder, I feel so free and relieved ... for the day that is.

Yes! I've finally submitted my 'N' level art preparatory work. Why am I so happy? Because I don't have to worry about it anymore! Art is my absolute favorite subject which I love to the max and really wish to excel in... Maybe excel isn't the right word. More of improve the way I draw to my own expectation ... putting it plainly I just want what I visualize to materialize... was that putting it plainly enough? :|

Besides the weight of the world being (exaggeratedly) lifted off my shoulders...

I received my award for best English in sec 3 ( I'm sec 4 now,lol ). I was suppose to get it on the school speech day but apparently they dragged the program out too long and decided not to present the prizes on the day -.- In a way it's sort of a good thing because I had no intention to stay back that day which was a friday ... the same day a fire broke out in school which you probably should know about if you read the newspaper daily.

Not trying to brag, it's just that it's my first time EVER receiving an award for studies. Super cool. Thanks too all who cheered for meh ^__^v

I'm wearing the ruby contact lens from Logicview. Can't say I'm loving it because I was looking for something more subtle but this is just twilight-bloody-thirsty-vampire red. But it's still nice I guess. I'm actually really loving the brand as compared to Maxi. Maybe it's because the contacts are slightly bigger or something so it'd fit my eyes better?

I don't know. But what I do know is I want to try their Blue and Purple which I my fav contact lens colors. Hoping to try 3 tones too (the ones I'm wearing are 2 tones).

I have been wanting to rant about thisfor awhile now but haven't got the chance to blog because of exams and studying and omg the whole fucking world is out to get me! Okay no but it is really extremely stressful but I'm trying my best.

Oh yeah, jsyk I'm typing this out on my cousin's iPad because I feel like it.

So anyway, this post is regarding an incident that happened to me recently. It's no big secret that my Chinese is the laughing stock of the world ;not that I care or anything but what irks me is the fact that my Chinese teacher is judgmental prick.

Maybe I'm sounding harsh but let's see how you feel if you're put in my position.

I'm in Chinese class wedged between Justin Bieber* and Angelina Jolie*. She Walkings in with all her glory and starts teaching and what not.As usual the three of us are bored to death because we seriously couldn't care more if we fail Chinese.Any wonder why we're sitting together?

JustinB* soon gets bored and starts chatting about his new album 'Never ever say never ever' that comes out when Selena agrees to marry him when hef proposes with the album. So we chat and chat for not more then five minutes and the teacher screams from across the class for me to keep quiet , okay my fault for being one of the many others for talking while you're teaching.

Soon after the storm calms , AngelinaJolie* talks about the cute Nigerian kid she plans to adopt and how she can't convince Brad to shave. And I swear the Chinese teachers hates me because she yet again screams from across the class.

'Jie Le! Can you stop talking? just because you don't want to study doesn't mean you should distract others.'

At that point I'm like wtf is wrong with you?

Am I the one starts talking first? really ? Is it me? Am I really the one who started talking first? And they even listening?

And even If I wasn't talking to them they'd be sleeping. Is that what you want? For them to be sleeping when the vice principal or principal walks pass? So the way I see it, I'm doing you a major favor of keeping your job. How does it lead there? Well let me explain.

If a student is sleeping in your class you'd have to keep them awake because you'd have to show your superiors that you still exert authority when you're teaching. But what if the student is consistently defying you and sleeping? Your superior would think lowly of you and your teaching methods which would obviously affect your job performance inevitably leading to what I've mentioned above.

Now if a student is talking fin your class it's a GOOD THING. Why? For starters you don't have to constantly knocking their table to keep them awake. When the vice principals walks pass they instantly keep quiet because its an imbred skill that all students possess. And if they are talking too loud, just tell them nicely to keep their volume down. If they respect you enough to know your not a fucking cunt they'd gladly oblige. In the end, the student is happy , you can teach , you superior is happy, you keep your job.

If you haven't read this I strong suggest you do because it really does have some questions that aren't answered. Also it's by someone the same age as me (currently),to think that she could write so well is truely remarkable.

But what I'm writing on is most probably on another level as compared to hers. What I want to discuss is the way teachers and students are distributed.

So we all know how students are are classified in school; express , normal and technical which we also know means god damn smart, dumbs shit and no hope respectively. I sound harsh? Sorry but that's they way society looks at students.

For the record I do not share those views at all because I'm not some judgmental bitch , but I am judgmental when it comes to looks but thats a different story.

I mean how often are really well-equipped teachers dispatched to cater to students to help them move up to normal or even express? All the good and experienced teachers are usually stationed to the god damn smart students, is that not true? I mean how often is a head of department teacher seen teaching a normal or technical class? From my experience , never.

Sure you can say it's because they are more knowledgable in the topics for express but shouldn't they be equally versed in teaching the other levels too? That brings me back to the topic ... Aren't they better equipped?

How often do teachers go out of their way to really help students in need or students who've given up on themselves? In my experience, I've only known one and that is a poor show.How does the government really expect students to really improve when the teachers that are hired aren't even doing their jobs as educators.

If teachers have the mentally that 'I just teach them what I can in class, what happens to them in life is non of my business' , fine it okay because you are the one molding the future of your life , your children's life lather rinse repeat. So by all means just keep calm and carry on.

P/s Had 'N' level oral exam today, Was okay ... except for the fact that examiner has really HUGE eyes. Way bigger then mine ! His freaking pupils weren't even touching his eyelids! TOP & BOTTOM. WTF. Okay I'm slightly jealous.

Been really busy studying for prelims. Totally stressed like mad because of chemistry and geography , not to mentinon art because I want it to be just perfect. So I might not be updating so often but my twitter will keep you company yes ? (:

Oh yes , I recently went to East Coast park and cycled all the way to Changi. WTF right? It's more then 40km far T___T But I feel very accomplished!
